Salvia officinalis – Sage Fortado®
A vigorous-growing, well branched version of this classic Mediterranean herb. Fortado® is a sterile cultivar which rarely flowers, putting all of its energy into producing a very bushy plant full of aromatic, relatively small leaves perfect for adding taste to your cooking

Pot up your plug plant in a 9cm pot or the like using a well draining potting compost. Do not over water but do not allow the compost to remain dry for too long between waterings. Once the root system has established in the pot you can plant out in its final position.
Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Salvia officinalis is a woody stemmed perennial and is hardy down to -10 degrees C.
