Description
Origanum Vulgare ‘Gold Nugget’
This hardy perennial oregano is a must have for any herb garden and can also be grown in containers or hanging baskets. As its name suggests this variety has wonderful golden yellow leaves.
The leaves are deliciously aromatic and mildly spicy making it a particularly useful culinary herb especially for Italian dishes.
A hardy plant which thrives on neglect – supplied as a well rooted plug plant.

Pot up your plug plant in a 9cm pot or the like using a well draining potting compost. Do not over water but do not allow the compost to remain dry for too long between waterings. Once the root system has established in the pot you can plant out in its final position.
Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Origanum Vulgare is a woody stemmed perennial which produces clusters of small pink flowers in late summer/early autumn
