Description
Origanum Vulgare ‘Poncho®’
A must have spicy oregano which does best when grown in containers or hanging baskets. This variety has overhanging slightly hairy leaves with an intense spicy aroma.
A particularly useful culinary herb especially for Italian dishes.
A hardy plant which thrives on neglect – supplied as well rooted plug plants – if grown outdoors it will need to be over-wintered inside.

Delivered in 2-4 working days.
Pot up your plug plant in a 9cm pot or the like using a well draining potting compost. Do not over water but do not allow the compost to remain dry for too long between waterings. Once the root system has established in the pot you can plant out in its final position.
Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Origanum Vulgare is a woody stemmed perennial which produces clusters of small pink flowers in late summer/early autumn
This variety is not frost hardy and will need winter protection.
