A classic garden herb, mint is also well known for its health and medicinal properties, research-proven benefits include helping with gastro-intestinal (digestion) problems, anti-inflammatory properties for both internal and skin conditions, immune-boosting activity, and anti-bacterial properties. If that’s not enough, it has high vitamin and mineral content and tastes great either alone or as an ingredient in a huge range of dishes.
Lemon mint features particularly delicate leaves and a real lemon flavour and can be used in the kitchen for sweet as well as salty dishes.

Pot up your plug plant into a 9cm pot and grow under cover until it has fully rooted through when it will be ready for planting out in final position.
Plant out in their final position after last frosts in spring.
Position: sunny to partial shade; prefers moisture. Perfect for containers and hanging baskets. If planted in the ground, sink a very large pot, or bucket with bottom removed, into the ground, with the lip 3-4cm above the surface, to contain the creeping roots and prevent the mint from becoming invasive. Trim back regularly to encourage new growth/ maintain size and spread
