With upright stems bearing aromatic, grey-green leaves and dense spikes of purple-blue flowers topped with large, upright, pinkish ‘wings’ all summer long, this is a superb introduction which certainly adds a modern twist to a traditional favourite and an eye-catching focal point in any sunny position.
