Description
Also known as the African mask plant due to its striking triangular shaped leaves (not where it comes from – these plants actually hail from the Philippines), Alocasi polly is a real gem of an Alocasia, with its striking skeletal white vein patterns on its leaves. The beautiful triangular shaped leaves which grow up to 18 inches long, will make it a focal point of any room.
Needs high humidity so is perfect for a terrarium where the leaves can be kept smaller by the enclosed growing space.
Supplied as a large 12 cm potted plant

Delivered in 2-4 working days.
Keep in a warm bright position away from drafts and radiators.
These plants love humid conditions so sitting them on a pebble tray is a must.
Keep the soil moist throughout the spring and summer but do not let the plant sit in water. Feed monthly during the growing season and decrease watering in the winter. These plants have a natural dormancy period when the leaves will fade and die - do not water during this time, just allow the rhizome to recover its strength and moisten the soil occasionally.
Important - do not cover the top of the rhizome with soil - this may cause it to rot
