Description
The ‘Black Scallop’ carpet bugle is prized by gardeners for its fantastic carpeting abilities especially in shady areas where other plants struggle. The foliage is evergreen with excellent weed suppressing capabilities.
Short spikes of fragrant deep blue flower spires are produced in late spring and early summer, though the carpet bugle is primarily grown for its glossy almost black scalloped leaves which form low mats of evergreen foliage.
