Digitalis Purpurea – Castor F1 Selection
A must have plant for a cottage garden borders and in fact these striking tall flowers will impress in any garden setting. Spires of trumpet shaped flowers rise from rosettes of deep green hairy leaves and sit atop 70-80cm stems ! Naturalising easily theses foxgloves will soon form clusters of beautiful flowers.
This hardy perennial is easy to care for and is supplied as well rooted plug plants.
Choose from 3 different colours or take 2 of each colour:
Cream, peach or rose
Single colours are supplied as 6 plug plants

Delivered in 2-4 working days.
Prefers well draining soil in full or partial sun.
Pot up your plug plant into a 9cm pot and grow under cover until it has fully rooted through (Can be planted out in final position upon arrival in summer) when it will be ready for planting out in final position. Plant individual foxgloves 2 feet apart and stack the tall flower stems with bamboo or the like.
Should flower in first year if planted out early enough
Cut back dead flowers to encourage a second flush
Eventual height x spread 40x80cm
Will naturalise and self seed.
All parts of foxgloves are highly toxic if eaten
